The class

A little structure, a lot of imagination

Each class blends gentle ballet foundations with playful tumbling, twirling and a little bit of whimsy. Shy dancers can watch first and join in when they feel ready.

  1. i.

    Music

Songs and classical pieces set the pace, from slow tiptoes to big leaps.

  2. ii.

    Ballet basics

Pliés, pointed toes and first positions, taught through play.

  3. iii.

    Tumbling

Rolling, balancing and crawling through the arch build gross motor skills.

  4. iv.

    Imagination

Story dances turn little dancers into butterflies, bunnies and fairies.

“Dance at this age should be less about getting every step right and more about building confidence, exploring movement, and making joyful memories together.”

SosséFounder and teacher, Tutu Tumble

Questions from grown-ups

Do I dance too?

Yes. Classes are built for toddlers and their grown-ups together, so you'll twirl and tumble right alongside your little one.

What if my toddler just wants to watch?

That's okay. Watching is how many little ones learn, and they can join in whenever they feel ready.

What should we wear?

Anything comfy that moves. Tutus are welcome. Bare feet or grippy socks work best.

When and where are classes?

Once a week, on a weekday in Napa. We'll share the day, time and studio with everyone who signs up.
